I came up with this idea awhile back when I was attending the San Diego Comic-Con. As I walked from aisle to aisle, I watched hundreds of fellow geeks, nerds and comic lovers chatter about wearing various superhero costumes. Like them, I too, appreciate comic book lore, flipping pages and following my favorite heroes as they triumph over evil. I then snapped back to reality. Reality. It is not often that we see how heroes deal with real-world situations. They are always placed in the most extreme and magnificent scenarios, what about the everyday life for them?

I tried to bring, humor and irony into play with these photos. I wanted to put each hero in everyday situations that you might not normally find them in.

As time continues, more heroes will be added from both the DC and Marvel Universes. Feel free to send suggestions of other characters you would love to see.
